Bullington Gardens, once the nursery of Bob Bullington, is a public botanical garden on 12 acres of rolling land providing hands-on education in horticulture and other sciences to students, youth clubs, and adults. These gardens incorporate some of the many unusual mature trees that Mr. Bullington collected and introduced to the area.

Annie Higgins, Administrative Director Bullington Gardens Background in education and horticulture. After ten years as an educator in Dallas Texas, I went back to school in Horticulture and Landscape Design. After working in various areas of the green industry, I combined both skillsets for my position at Bullington Gardens as Administrative Director. Bullington, also known as “the Garden with a Heart” is a non-profit botanical garden in Hendersonville.
